The long-awaited reopening of the Inhotim Institute to visitation will take place this weekend (7 and 8/11), when visitors will again be able to stroll through one of the most famous open-air museums in the world. 14 galleries, 8 thematic gardens, large-scale works arranged by the Botanical Garden and a unique contact with nature and contemporary art will be available to the public. The Inhotim Institute is sponsored by Vale, through the Federal Culture Incentive Law.

For those who prefer to stay at home right now, Inhotim has prepared a virtual program throughout the month of November, starting on the 6th (Friday), to commemorate the restoration of the work Magic Square # 5 (1977), by Hélio Oiticica. At 11 am, on  YouTube,Facebook and Instagram of Inhotim, a new episode of the series Dialogues opens, with Antonio Grassi (actor and president of the Institute), Jards Macalé (singer, songwriter and actor), Fernanda Lopes (MAM Rio) and Fred Coelho (PUC-Rio).

On Sunday (8), at 11 am, the Inhotim Chamber Orchestra enters the scene, with a special concert. The repertoire also “talks” with the work of Oiticica and is composed of Brazilian songs like “Tropicália” and “Alegria, alegria”, by Caetano Veloso. A must see!
